I have posted some new drama material that I found quite interesting. This woman, Susanna Hamnet, performed what you call a "one-woman" show at the Duke. My eyes were immediately drawn to this because I never heard of a professional one-man show before, only on the Nickelodeon show "Victorious,"and because it was only Nick, I wasn't sure if it was something people really did. Atlas, I was wrong. This William Shakesperian play, King Lear, is a funny and promising show.http://theater.nytimes.com/2011/01/11/theater/reviews/11lear.html?ref=theater
The second link that I posted is on the movie "Black Swan," a film I seen not too long ago. I found this film to be absolutely magnificant! There were so many symbols and unsollved mysteries to follow that you're eyes are magnetically attached to the screen the whole time. In my opinion, the movie was amazing and I felt bad for critics who didn't fully understand it with all its beauty.http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/02/movies/awardsseason/02scot.html?ref=awardsseason
Critics are so critical with their superflous scrutinizing. Anyway, good job on your post.
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Lee. I learned about Susana Hamnet from reading your blog. Just make sure you teach yourself to activate the URLs into hyper links that take the readers to the sites after being clicked. It's a pain to cut and paste them into the browser.
